Biscuit is a 25-year-old, Quarter Horse gelding. He is Maura's childhood pony! In his younger years, he was jumping 3ft courses and galloping around cross country. Nowadays, he's happy to teach the basics to new riders.
Lightning Bug
"Bug" is a 12 year old, Appendix gelding. Gentle and patient, Bug is a master at his work. He is great at knowing his audience as he is slow and steady for our beginners, but eager to move forward and try new things with our more experienced riders.
Salsa
Salsa is our 6-year-old Thoroughbred who previously raced and won! However, she much prefers the slower pace of life. She loves teaching our English students to jump!
Cash
Cash is a 7-year-old Quarter Horse. He's our big guy standing at 17hh, but don't let his long legs fool you! He is never in a hurry to get anywhere! Plus, he loves all the cookies you can offer.
Indy
Indy is a 6 year old, Quarter Horse/Arabian cross. She wins the smoothest trot award at the farm. She is still in the process of building her strength and gaining her lesson horse buttons, but her kind disposition makes her a favorite.
Honorable Mentions
These horses reside at our farm, but they are not in the lesson program. They love all the attention and are always down to help with our unmounted lessons!
Killian
Killian, our mascot, has spent her 25 years of life here at the farm. Kind, gentle, and a total camera ham. We love Killian and her fun personality.
chestnut
Killian's long time best friend, Chestnut, is our resident old grumpy grandma. Her arthritis makes her officially retired, but she loves helping with our unmounted lessons. Especially if there are cookies involved!
